Hazeena Syed stands as a beacon of hope and progress for women across Tamil Nadu. As the President of Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress, she has dedicated her life to amplifying the voices of women and creating meaningful change in society. Her journey in politics began with a deep-rooted belief that true development can only be achieved when women are empowered and given equal opportunities.

Born and raised in Tamil Nadu, Hazeena understands the unique challenges faced by women in the state. Her grassroots approach to politics ensures that the concerns of women from all walks of life - from rural villages to urban centres - are heard and addressed at the highest levels of government.

1997 - NSUI

Started political journey with National Students' Union of India, focusing on student rights and educational reforms in Tamil Nadu colleges and universities.

2008 - Youth Congress

Joined Indian Youth Congress, expanding advocacy work to include youth employment, skill development, and women's safety initiatives across the state.

2018 - Early Political Career

Started as a grassroots activist focusing on women's issues in local communities across Tamil Nadu. Organised health camps and educational programmes for underprivileged women.

2020 - State Committee Member

Elected to the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, spearheading initiatives for women's safety and economic empowerment. Led successful campaigns for better street lighting and public transport safety.

2022 - Mahila Congress Leadership

Appointed as key leader in Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress, focusing on policy advocacy and women's rights legislation. Instrumental in organizing state-wide women's conferences.

Elected as President of Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to women's political participation and empowerment across the state.
